Automatic geodetic and geotechnical monitoring

As part of the reconstruction work on the A2 motorway in Southern Switzerland, the Stalvedro tunnel is expanded to accommodate a third north-bound lane. The new emergency lane allows better access for rescue vehicles in case of a traffic jam. As the rock cliff over the tunnel’s north portal is secured, automated geodetic and geotechnical monitoring measurements are required.
